Recycling campaign starts on Otaniemi campus

Copper thieves have been busy in the Otaniemi area during April. Copper has been stolen on several occasions and the thieves have been caught on cameras, but they have not yet been apprehended. We are looking for eyewitnesses.
New sauna space Laude opens in startup hub A Grid
Otaniemi's new public sauna, Laude, will be opened on the Aalto University Otaniemi campus. The 125 sqm sauna facility, located in startup community A Grid, has been renovated during the past year and opens during the spring 2020.

Pricing principle for charging electric cars to change
The pricing principle for the charging of electric cars on campus will change on Friday, February 28 at 16.00 (4:00 pm). Instead of the previously used time-based charge, you will be charged based on how much energy you use.
Access control changing on the Otaniemi campus
Due to the changes in the locking and access control system at Aalto University, mobility in the university buildings is changing also to students.

Restaurant services at Aalto University Töölö by Kanresta
The restaurant, Assembly Hall and auditorium will be operated by Kanresta Oy under the name Ravintola Töölö.
Interruption of district heating distribution in the following properties: Lämpömiehenkuja 2, 3A-B, Betonimiehenkuja 3 and 5
District heating will be suspended in Lämpömiehenkuja 2, 3A-B, Betonimiehenkuja 3 and 5 due to maintenance work. The interruption will occur on Thursday, March 26 starting at 8am until 4pm.

Part of Maarintie will be closed to vehicle traffic in October
Jokeri Light Rail will be built near the properties on Maarintie and at the intersection of Konemiehentie and Tietotie. As of June 2019, preparation work such as stabilization, and other works related to Jokeri Light Rail has been carried out on Maarintie.
