Fortum and Aalto University have agreed to modernise the heating and cooling system of a 10-building block to make it emissions-free and virtually self-sufficient. The area’s energy solution, to be renewed in two phases, will be globally unique.

Cafetoria Aalto, the new café of Cafetoria roastery, opens in A Bloc on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020. Cafetoria is an independent and artisan coffee roastery with Finnish and Latin roots.
Jokeri Light Rail excavation on Otaniementie to start in June
The excavation work on Otaniementie will start in June. Blasting will be carried out 1–3 times a day. The excavation work will last for approximately three months.
