Learning Centre to pilot new opening hours as of 19 August 2024
There will be changes to the opening hours and spaces of the Harald Herlin Learning Centre in August 2024. The Aalto community members will have more extensive access rights to the Learning Centre spaces and collections, and feedback on the change will be collected at https://link.webropolsurveys.com/S/24A3200C7C7ACF67.
The spaces of the Learning Centre will be updated to better meet the wishes and needs of its users. To that end, new study and project facilities will be opened on the first floor and on the K floor.
As of 19 August 2024, the centre will be open to the public as follows:
| Mon – Thu | 7.45 - 18.00 |
| Fri | 7.45 - 15.00 |
| Sat - Sun | Closed |
The Aalto University staff and students will have access to the building everyday between 7.00 and 23.00.
As a result of the pilot, the opportunities for Aalto members to use the Learning Centre outside the building's opening hours will expand not only to the current premises on the 1st and K floors but also to the spaces and collections on the 2nd floor.
utside the Learning Centre's opening hours, the Aalto members can use the C door (the door facing Otaniementie), which opens with the Aalto access token.
