Your roles and goals
As Asset Manager your exciting task is taking the overall responsibility of selected commercial real estate assets and developing their concepts further. Our commercial premises include shopping center A Bloc (Finland’s most innovative shopping center, NCSC awards 2019), startup community A Grid and Otaniemi shopping centre designed by Alvar Aalto. Together they act as a concentration of leisure and services on campus and support each other by offering diverse services and facilities.
In your role as Asset Manager, you will be responsible for building close relationships with tenants as well as managing and developing the relationships. You will proactively seek for solutions to improve customer satisfaction and participate in negotiations of new leases and attracting new tenants to standing assets together with our Leasing Manager and Head of Leasing & Sales. You will be communicating with both our internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis and taking care of the operational tasks and reporting related to the assets.
Examples of your responsibilities also include preparing business plans and ensuring their successful implementation, budgeting and forecasting of selected assets as well as delivering results according to these. An important part of your role is also to be an active player in our asset management and real estate development projects, where you will work in close co-operation with several stakeholders. In the role of Asset Manager, you will also have a unique opportunity to participate in planning and implementing different business development projects related to leasing process and functional solutions of different facilities (coworking, teaching and commercial facilities). You will also contribute to marketing and communications efforts and support the team especially in defining and executing strategies of the assets both in the short and long term.
In this role you will report to our Head of Leasing & Sales.
Your experience and ambitions
In order to succeed in this position, we expect you to have a Master´s Degree in a relevant field. You should have already gained preferably 3-5 years of relevant work experience and a strong understanding of the real estate market and real estate business. Basic knowledge in construction and real estate engineering is seen as an advantage.
We are looking for a team player with a customer service-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently and hands-on. We hope that you have excellent collaboration and influencing skills and believe that the cleverest solutions are often found, when working tightly together with others. To succeed in the position, you should have a positive and can do attitude with ability to simultaneously handle various issues, both on the strategic and operational levels. You should have an excellent command of English, fluency in Finnish is seen as an advantage as our company´s working language is mainly Finnish.
