Detailed schedules for blasting work

NCC Suomi Oy will continue preliminary works generating environmental noise at Metallimiehenkuja 6-8, Otaniemi. The works will proceed with demolition, drilling, and the blasting that started on March 13th. The excavation phase will include pre-splitting drilling and blasting.

The blasting work has now started and will continue on weekdays within the following time windows: 

  • from 9.30–9.45 
  • from 11.15–11.30 
  • from 13.30–13.45 
  • from 15.30–15.45 

General high noise level work will continue according to the previously distributed schedule from February 3 to November 15, 2025, on weekdays from Monday to Friday within the period from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and, if necessary, every other Saturday within the period from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Regular construction work may also be carried out outside these time windows.

Pedestrians are advised to pay attention to heavy traffic near the construction site.
