3 years have flown on by! Welcome to celebrate the first 3 years of Omnia Makerspace in A Grid on Tuesday 31 May, 11.00-13.00!
Omnia has been operating the highly successful Makerspace within A Grid, serving as a co-collaboration hub for students and startup companies.
At this celebratory event, you will learn about some of the fantastic case examples of product design, manufacturing, new innovations and brand new ways of working that have taken place within the three years.
The backbone of the event is the mini expo of A Grid companies and Omnia Makerspace case examples. A Grid community members have a chance to host small stands with a bar table, roll-up and laptop and showcase what they do. Community Manager Leigh Ewin will visit stands and do light chat-type interviews, focusing especially on those who have stories to tell about working with Omnia Makerspace.
Omnia Director Tuula Antola will open the event, Aalto Mobile Robotics will arrange a special demo, and naturally something to eat and drink will be provided. Media will be informed, and we expect to get some external publicity as well.
