At the end of every June, the Otaniemi campus grows quieter – but the Otaniemi area fills with summer workers enjoying the opportunity to gain work experience in their chosen fields. It is also important for ACRE to offer summer jobs to students as part of an engaging and encouraging work community. One of our summer workers was landscape architecture student Alex Salminen.

The pedestrian connection from the metro to Dipoli and the Amphitheater Square area will be improved during the autumn of 2021. The aim is to create comfortable, versatile, safe and accessible outdoor areas, respecting original design solutions and implementations. The construction sites will start already in August.
